Yahoo with billions of data stolen by hackers

Hackers have stolen information from more than a billion accounts of our members – announced the US portal Yahoo. The attack, which occurred in August of 2013, the Associated Press has identified the largest in history.

In the hands of cybercriminals who have hit the user’s name, their date of birth, phone numbers and zahaszowane passwords. In some cases, they may also be caught up with auxiliary questions and answers, which are used to verify the user’s identity.

Yahoo ensured that hackers probably did not assume unsafe passwords or information about bank accounts or credit cards.

Not specified exactly who could be behind the attack.

This is not the first time that the Yahoo user data stolen. In September, the portal reported that the attack, which occurred in late 2014. Hackers stole information from 500 million accounts of people who use Yahoo. Experts then suspected that hackers affiliated with a foreign state might be behind him.
